Book: Asterix in Britain

Perhaps not the most historically accurate account of the end of the Iron Age in Britain, but a famous one nevertheless!

There are many Asterix books, both original and written more recently to extend the franchise. If you remember them fondly from a 1980s childhood, please have a flick through each book before you introduce them to your children - overall I think that the Asterix brand still has a lot to give but some books have extremely racist illustrations that shouldn’t be passed on any further and their depictions of women aren’t always that great either.
