Book: The Stone Age: Hunters, Gatherers and Woolly Mammoths.

This is a very accessible book written in a semi-cartoon format with lots of humour and asides. The main story is a discussion of stone age daily life narrated by a stone age child, but the book also contains recurring ?lemming? characters who have their own narrative across the pages. The mammoths suggest that the book is set in the Old Stone Age but most of the "stone age hunter-gatherer" content could apply to the Middle Stone Age period too.
